Cards of Support: phrases and thoughts.

I'm still overwhelmed by the response to my last blog post. (You can read it here.) Thank you so much to everyone that got in touch, who gave their opinion, advice and pointed me in the right direction.

I was apprehensive about sharing- it's such a personal, sensitive subject and the last thing I wanted to do was offend anyone- but it seems that I needn't have worried.

I know it's a big project, and like I said, one bigger than me but I think we're on the right track. Any difference I can make is worth it.

I've taken all your wisdom on board and so far I have the following phrases:

I love you whatever

I believe in you

You are wonderful

You're not alone

You matter

This is not your fault

I'm here for you

I will never abandon you

We'll get through this together

You talk, I'll listen

If you need a friend…I'm here

I'm all ears

What can I do for you?

You're not wired wrong

Thank you for telling me

You know where I am

Got your back

It's shit and if I knew how to fix it I would

Lean on me

You've got this

I'm thinking a selection of downloadable messages would be helpful too... I might need help with how to 'code' that one though but I'm sure I can figure it out.

I'd love your opinion or help with perfecting these or suggestions of what's missing.

My next mission is to figure out the easiest way to make charitable donations as there's so many these cards could relate to it seems wrong to just home in on one issue. Perhaps a charity of the month? What do you think?
